Alice Punchard was born in 1871 in Brighton, Sussex, England to Alfred Punchard and Eliza (Parsons) Punchard. Her birth was registered in Brighton in the last quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Parsons.[1]
Alice's mother Eliza Punchard passed away in 1874, and her father married Sarah Ann Newton in 1876.
In 1881 Alice Punchard (age 9, Scholar) lived at Nelson St in Brighton with her father Alfred (37, Fly Driver), stepmother Sarah (36), and seven siblings: Alfred (14, Scholar), Charles [formerly Newton] (13, Scholar), Frederick (10, Scholar), Harry (7, Scholar), Lousia (3, Scholar), Florie (2), and Anna (0), as well as lodger Catherine E Brigland (33, Servant Domestic Out of Employ).[2]
Alice Punchard passed away in 1886, aged 14 years. Her death was registered in Ticehurst, Sussex in the third quarter of the year.[3]
