Biography

She passed away in 1854. According to a ZANESVILLE SIGNAL newspaper article, she stepped out onto the porch of her West Muskingum avenue home in Zanesville, to watch a fire . A nearby building on West Main street had caught fire. As a result of staying out in the cold too long, she caught pneumonia and died. She was buried in the Quaker cemetery.
