I am looking for Frederick Purden aka Purdon, who fought at the Battle of the Boyne as a Lieutenant in the King's Regiment of Dragoons. Later he came over from Ireland on a visit to Offenchurch Bury and ran away with Miss Ladbrooke, the daughter of Sir William Ladbrooke of Offenchurch, to Greta Green, from a ball given at Stratford on Avon. Their grandson, Robert Purden, who was born on the 10th May 1740 and is buried in the Chapel Yard. His daughter Catherine ( WikiTree Purden-23), married my gt.x4 times grandfather, Phillippe Frederick Muntz (WikiTree Muntz-83), in Birmingham on the 6th March 1793. The Arms were conferred on the Purdens by Christopher Ussher, King of Arms of Ireland in 1535, to F. Purden at Kirklington Hall, Cumberland.
