Married Joseph Pearson Ice.
- Virginia Mae Ice, 67, died early Monday at Henry County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born near Carlos in Randolph County, she was the daughter of Walter A. and Mary E. Botkins Pursley.
Mrs. Ice had lived here since 1934. She was employed in the Henry County clerk and treasurer's offices from 1948 to 1960. She worked 12 years in the administration building at New Castle State Hospital, retiring in 1972.
She was a member of the New Castle First United Methodist Church, Sulphur Springs Chapter of Eastern Star and Winchester Tri Kappa Sorority,
Survivors include her husband, Bohn; and a brother, Walter B. Pursley.
