Arturo Putti (Toselli) was a bandmaster and moved a lot.
According to Rotemansarkivet Arturo Francesco Pietro Putti came to Stockholm, Klara parish, from Italy in 1917. He married Sonja Maximiliana Corona Weckell 20 December 1916 (in Klara parish). The couple lived in Luleå for a year 1918-1919.[1]
Arturo moved out, alone, to Malmö in 1922.[2] He lived in Malmö Caroli, without his wife. (Her name is noted).[3]
He lived in Uppsala from February to March 1933. He came from Linköping? and went to Västerås.[4] From Västerås he came to Kristianstad in October 1935. He left for Malmö in January 1936.[5] Then went to Kalmar in 1938[6] and back to Malmö in August 1939.[7]
At the time of the census 1940 musician Arturo Fransisco Pietro Putti was employed at hotel Stora Källaren in Malmö. He is listed as a widower.[8] Arturo Fransisco Pietro Putti can also be found in the parish register for Malmö S:t Petri at this time. He moved in from Malmö S:t Pauli in November 1940 and moved out to Kalmar in April 1941. He was a Roman catholic and a Swedish citizen. It is noted that he calls himself Toselli. He was a widower after Sonja Maximiliana Corona Wersell (Weckell), who died 30 August 1923 (In Stockholm Engelbrekt).[9] He lived in Kalmar until November 1943, when he moved to Jönköping (Kristina parish).[10] He came back to Kalmar in 1945. Here there is a note that he was married since 1937, but his wife was in Italy.[11]
According to the census 1960 Arturo Fransisco Pietro Putti was divorced since November 12, 1949. At that time he lived in Kalmar.[12]Actually, according to the census for 1950 he had lived in Kalmar (at least) since 1946.[13]
