Biography

Alice May Puttick was the daughter of William John Puttick (b.1861 Fetter Lane London) and Alice Elizabeth Sibley (b.1861 Camden Town Surrey d.1942 Ealing). Her parents were born within 2.5 miles of each other, and they were married in 1881 and had 10 children over 21 years. Her father worked as a house painter.

Alice May was born in Finsbury Park or Highbury London in 1886, the eldest daughter. Her family lived in Highbury, City Road, Campsbourne Rd in Hornsey, St Luke's, and Islington in London. In 1895 They lived at #6 Magdala Avenue (now Road) Upper Holloway Islington.

Alice married tailor George Temple in 1905 and they had children. They lived in Hammersmith, London.

Alice is buried in Amersham, as are her sons Edward and George.
