Biography

Caution

  • Generally the following records, although sourced, are not necessarily the same people. The marriage record is probably the basis for all the incorrect and fanciful other relationships.

See the profile of Elizabeth (Unknown) Watson which explains that secondary sources claim that Widow Elizabeth Watson of Plymouth Colony was allegedly wife of a fictional Robert Watson. The desire to "fill in the blanks" genealogy creates all sorts of illogical connections.

Parents

It is highly unlikely that she was the daughter of Thomas Pye and Margaret Mitford, as they never lived in Yorkshire (originally stated as place of Elizabeth's birth) or Lincolnshire.
