In the 1901 census John (age 7) was the son of James Pyke in Neston, Cheshire, England.[2]
In the 1911 census John (age 17) was the single son of James Pyke in Neston, Cheshire, England.[3]
Served in the Cheshire Regiment in WW1 died on 22nd May 1916 and is buried in Amara War cemetery [4]
