Biography

Thomas Pyman married Eunice Clover on 25 February 1816 in St. Mary, Suffolk, England.[1][2]

Their known children are:

  • Thomas (b. 1817)[3]
  • John Pyman (b. 1819)[4]
  • Henry Pyman (b. 1823)[5]
  • Walter Pyman (b. 1829)[6]
  • Catherine Anna (Pyman) Thompson (b. 1832)[7]

He appears in the 1851 England and Wales Census, age 60, chemist and druggist living at Whitlam, Essex.[8] (however his birth place is listed as Suffolk)

Thomas emigrated to South Australia, arriving in December 1853, on the "Irene". [9][10]


He died in 1859 in South Australia.[11]
