Biography

Augusta was born in 1845 and christened Dec 22, 1846, at Clementsvale, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Alpheus Pyne and Jane Aymar.She was the eldest child of Alpheus Pine and his first wife. Augusta was living at home at the age of 24. The 1871 census shows 7 younger children in the household, the youngest, Alpheus, less than 1.

Augusta married Hugh Blackader at age 27, on 23 July 1874, in Clementsvale, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada.^[2] They were the parents of at least 2 sons.. The couple settled in Massachusetts. Their son, Bernard Blackeder married Jennie Ballard July 30, 1903 in Brockton, Massachusetts at 22 years old. Their son, Frank married Sadie Elizabeth Wagner, 14 Feb, 1912 at Brockton, Mass.

Augusta died on 6 August 1883, in Clementsvale, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 38.
