John reared a family of children, among whom was Samuel George.[1][2]
He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War, one of the many colonists who fought.[2]
John died on 19 Feb 1847 in East Liverpool, Ohio.[3]
Research Notes
Three county histories written between 1891 and 1921 claim that Jonah Queen was born on May 5th, 1753 in County Donegal, Ireland. He supposedly immigrated to the United States as a young man, where he lived in Loudoun County, Virginia before settling in Columbiana County, Ohio.[2][4][5]
