Biography

L. G. Queen wed Emma Patterson August 6, 1893 in Union County, Georgia.[1]

Lewis Queen was enumerated as head of the household at Mobile, Fannin County, Georgia for the May 9, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1869 in Georgia and had been married sixteen years. He was a miner (copper mine) and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Emma Queen, son Harry Queen, daughter May Queen, daughter Ola Queen, son Solon Queen and son Nolan Queen.[2]

Louis G Queen was enumerated as head of the household at Blue Ridge, Fannin County, Georgia for the January 3, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1868 in Georgia and married. He was a renter and a salesman (medicine) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Emma Queen, son Solon Akins Queen and son William Nolan Queen.[3]

Lewis G Queen was enumerated as head of the household at Rosedale, Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina for the April 12, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1866 in Georgia and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-seven. He was an owner of a home worth $1600 as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Emma Queen, daughter Mae Queen, son J Nolon Queen and granddaughter M Helen Higdon.[4]

Lewis G Queen is buried at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA.[5]
