P.S. Oops, I forgot to post the How-To link!

Also, if you have any specific questions or want to know how to do something, just give me a shout!  :)

Hi G.R.! Thanks for your note. My Brown ancestors are actually from Virginia (as far as I know), but there might be some relatives in Kentucky as well. Admittedly I haven't done as much research on that side of the family... yet.  :)

Adding people to the main tree is the best way to share information about them, so my general advice would be to build as much of your tree as possible & connect your Swedish ancestors to the Sweden Project as you add them in. The leaders of the Sweden Project may have other ideas. It looks like their project account is here: WikiTree-49

There is definitely a learning curve with WikiTree. Have you had a chance to read the New Member How-To pages? They're on this page here:. Any specific questions, just ask!  :)

Oops, I just realized that it is three surnames in your tag, not given names and a surname.

The same thought applies, though. With each surnames in it's own tag, the tags become clickable links to pages of others who want to collaborate about that surname. With the surnames combined in a tag, that isn't possible.

I see you added the DNA tag to your profile. Here are a few links & tips to help you along in the journey of WikiTree and DNA.

It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to ‘Private w/ Public Biography & Family Tree’ to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see  How to DNA on WikiTree

Here's a great YouTube video with all sorts of questions answered Getting Started with DNA.
