Biography
James Quinn was born in 1790.
He was convicted for possession of forged notes at the Lancaster Assizes. He was sentenced to 14 years transportation. He arrived in Australia on board the "Morley" on the 10th of April, 1817. [1] He received his Ticket of Leave in 1830.[2] He received his Certificate of Freedom. [3]
He married Mary Kay in 1831. [4] She passed away in June 1840.
He married Elizabeth Hogan (nee Curtis) in 1840 at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney. [5]
