Biography

In the 1857 Griffith Valuation, Pat had over 17 acres of land in the townland of Carrownalassan in Kilbride parish.

In 1865, his daughter Bridget was married in Kilbride parish and the civil record lists him as a farmer. William and Catherine Tremble were listed as witnesses to the marriage. The Tremble family also appear in Griffiths Valuation with land in the same townland.

There may be a connection between this Patrick Quinn and Fr. Andrew Quinn. [1]   Fr. Andrew Quinn mentioned a Patt Quinn near the end of an 1844 letter to his brother. [2]   Fr. Andrew also held land in Carrownalassan.

This may be the same person as Quinn-5596.
