Biography

Dale was born in Shelley, Idaho in 1927. He was the son of Orley Quinn and Golda Christensen. They lived in Basalt, Idaho until 1942 when his family moved to Richmond, California where there was work in the shipyards during the War. In 1951 Dale married Darlene Ireta Stoddard and together they were parents of two children. Dale served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Corporal. They later lived in Sandy, Oregon where Dale passed away in 2014 at age 87. Dale and Darlene are buried together in the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
