Elizabeth married Michael Joseph MOORE, son of Michael MOORE and Mary Ann ("Annie") MOORE, on 25 September 1865 in Wollombi (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales.
Michael was born in 1843 in Wollombi (R.D.), Colony of New South Wales, died on 25 August 1919 in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia at age 76, and was buried on 26 August 1919 in Catholic Cemetery, Inverell, New South Wales, Australia. The cause of his death was from heart failure.

The remains were interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the cemetery on Saturday when the Very Rev. Dean O'Neill officiated.

As briefly stated in our last issue Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Moore of Glen Innes road, passed away on Friday last. The deceased lady died within one month of her 90th birthday, which she would have reached on the 3rd of next month. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Quinn, who came out from Ireland and lived on the Hunter where Mrs. Moore was born. At the age of 22 years deceased lady married, the late Mr. Michael Joseph Moore at Wollumbi, and after a residence of a few years there came to Inverell, where she resided ever since. When the couple built their first small home on the site of their present residence it was the first house on Albion Hill. Deceased was hale and hearty and enjoyed good health up to a fortnight ago and could walk without a stick and read without glasses. Her husband predeased her 12 years ago. The surviving members of the family are three sons and one daughter namely, Messrs Joseph and Rowley (Inverell), Gus (Casino) and Mrs. Heffernan (Inverell). There are also 42 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Deceased was a loyal and devoted church worker, was of a very genial disposition and of a most charitable nature. In the early days she sheltered many of the old travellers and never let a passerby go hungry.
