Biography
Ray was born in 1911, the son of John Quinney and Agnes Mears.[1]
He married Marjorie Ackerley in 1949.
Ray started the Motupiko camping ground known as "Quinney's Bush" in 1960, and it continues to be run by family.[2]
He passed away in 1996[3] and was buried in Saint George's Anglican Churchyard, Motupiko, Tasman, New Zealand.[4]
