Christian was one of twin girls born in 1866 in Kirk German, Isle of Man. She is the daughter of Robin Quirk and Elizabeth Kelly. In a later USA census, she gave her date of birth as 11 Feb 1866. She was baptised at Kirk German on 16 Jul 1866.[1]
Christian migrated to the USA in 1889 and it appears she was married at about the same time.[2]
It appears there were 2 children born in the USA from the marriage to Andrew Ramsey - John Andrew Ramsey, born 17 Jan 1890 in Newport, Rhode Island, [3] and Elizabeth (Thurston), born around 1908 in Rhode Island.[4]
In 1935, she was widowed and living at 166 Washington St, Warwick in Rhode Island. She gave her date of birth as 11 Feb 1866.[5]
