Christened (Calv) on 27-11-1661 in Rotterdam, Groote Kerk (Laurens Kerk), died in 1709 in Piershil. His mother died when he was born, guardians were her family: Jan and Adriaen Jansz van der Kist, carpenters. Later his father remarried. There are many stories about Frans, but they are all in Dutch.
