The earliest known ancestor of this line is Jacob RABE (also known variant is RAPE). Most of what we know of him, comes from his 1822 Last Will and Testament filed in Washington Co., PA and which names him as a resident of Fallowfield Twp., of that county. Jacob was born about 1745 and died in 1822. He married Catherine (Unknown) who died in 1840. Their union produced seven known children, all named in their father’s will.
