George Rabenstein was a Pennsylvanian.

George, son of Amos Fischer Rabenstein and Cecelia Swartz,[1] was born 27 February 1864 in Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania.[1] His parents had him baptized 21 May 1864 at Saint Jacobs (Stone) Lutheran and Reformed Church, Brodbecks, Manheim Township, York County.[1]

On 25 October 1887 in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, he married Elizabeth Ellen "Ella" Rutter,[3] daughter of Jesse Rutter and Phebe Booher. They had six children:

Ella died on 29 January 1914.

He married for a second time to Margaret M. Barr of Pitcairn, Allegheny County, on 22 September 1916 in Orbisonia, Huntingdon County.[6]

George died of pneumonia at his home on 9 June 1933 and was buried 12 June 1933 at Jordan Cemetery in Rockhill Furnace.[7]
