Note: 2013: Mary Ellen Lee, 87, of Danbury, wife of the late Hugh M. Lee died at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 10th. She was born July 1, 1925 in Manistee, MI, daughter of the late O.J. and Lucille E. (Shons) Racine. Mary Ellen enjoyed needle work and sharing her talent with her family. At Christmas, Mary Ellen handmade her grandchildren's Christmas tree skirts and for her great grandchildren she made their Christmas stockings. Mary Ellen was very devoted to her family. Mary Ellen will be missed by her daughter, Sherrie A. Pluff and her husband Thomas;. 7 grandchildren, Chandelle Albert and her husband Danny, Claudine Stephens, Kevin Pluff, Carie Koehler and her husband Chris, Elesa Malo and her husband Jeff, Leslie and Christopher Lee as well as 8 great grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Greyson, Jack, Josalee, Justin, Jolie and Bennett. In addition to her husband, Hugh, Mary Ellen is predeceased by her son, Mark A. Lee and her daughter-in-law Patricia Lee. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, April 15th at St. Mary's Church, 24 Dodgington Road, Bethel. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. [1]
