Biography

Vladan was born about 1936 in Novo Sad. Vladan is the child of Nikola Radoman and Jovanka Petrowitz. He is one of the founder of Doctors without borders, the organization that received the Nobel peace price in 1999....

1941 family escaped the Novi Sad massacre to Beograd[1]

1962 Doctor of Medicine in Beograd

1963 emigrated to France. He starts his medical studies, the Yugoslav diploma is not recognized. He will then become anesthetist .

1964 mar 31 Marriage to Françoise Jeanne Simone Robin

1967 the Biafran war began following the recession of the Eastern Region of Nigeria, self-proclaimed Republic of Biafra. Government troops making a land blockade, the area is plunged into famine, the result of which an estimated death of one to two million people. This war is widely publicized internationally, which will push the physicians to help refugees. Valadan Radoman then goes on a mission with other French doctors:

Dr. Marcel Delcourt, Dr. Max Recamier, Dr. Gerard Pigeon, Dr Bernard Kouchner , Raymond Borel, Dr Jean Cabrol, Dr. Jean-Michel Wild, Dr Pascal Greletty-Bosviel Dr. Jacques Beres, Dr. Gerard Illiouz Philippe Bernier, Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli , Dr. Louis Schittly.[1]

1970 the Biafran war cause the creation of the "Doctors Without Borders" (1971) and Vladan is one of the founders[1]

1984 published the bok "Le Ravin" which was awarded the Prix Sainte-Beuve in 1984 ISBN 978-2855652467 Amazon

1993 published the book "Le sourire de l'accordeoniste" ISBN 978-2710305835 Amazon

1999 medal of chevalier of the Legion of Honour 1999 Michel Mohrt honoured him with the medal of chevalier of the Legion of Honour.

1999 Doctors Without Borders that Vladan founded received the Nobel peace price (Médecins Sans Frontières Wikipedia)

2001 at the age of 65 he stopped practicing medicine. He is then devoted himself fully to writing

2004 emigrated to Beograd Kalenič

2007 Firefly ice (Ledeni Svitac) was staged in 2007 at Madlenianum opera & theater of Zemun .

2014 published the book Mimohod

2015 oct 27 passed away 79 years old in Monaco after some years of illness[2][3][4]

2015 nov 7 buried in Belgrade in the grave at Novo Grobjle

    Co-founder of Doctors of the World Co-founder of Doctors Without Borders Writer Officer of the Legion of Honor Chevalier of the National Order of Merit who passed away October 26, 2015 to age of 78 years.
    His former companions Frances and Noëlle; His brother's wife Jasna; Nathalie her children, Nicolas, Thomas, Milena, Irina, Maia and Dong; His Emmanuel grandchildren Maëva, Jessica and Adam; His cat Lucifer.
    A ceremony will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 in the Russian church of Saint-Nicolas-et-Sainte-Alexandra, 6, rue Longchamp, Nice.
