Erdmann Raedel was born on 2 Aug 1790 in Pomerania, Prussia [1].

He emigrated to America in 1857 with his wife and several children, grandchildren and neighbors. See: The voyage from Pripkowo to Honey Creek, Sauk County, Wisconsin

He passed away on 12 May 1871 and was buried on 14 May 1791 at St John's Lutheran Church, Leland, Sauk County, Wisconsin [1].
