1845 -January 6 (Warren Co., KY) - Will of Robert is written (sent to me by David Wiltshire <davidwiltshire@hotmail.com>
Know all men by these presents whom it may concern that I Robert Rasdall laboring under disease and the infirmation of old age though of sound mind and disposing memory do make constitute and ordain this my last will and testament in the words and form following, (to wit)
1st It is my will and desire that my beloved wife Elizabeth Rasdall show have all my estate both personal and real during her natural life with the following exceptions (to wit)
2nd That is my will and desire that my daughter Elizabeth Rasdall shall have my negro girl Mary wherever she may think proper to call for her at two hundred and fifty dollars and that Perlina Hodges three children namely, Elizabeth, William, and Robert shall have fifty Dollars each as they may arrive at the age of twenty one years.
3rd It is my will and desire that my three single children shall be apportioned off whenever called for equal with those that are married.
4th It is my will and desire that my oldest son Abel shall have 1/8 of my estate including one hundred dollars that he has already received entry at my wife's death.
5th It is my will and desire that my daughter Lucinda Kerby and her bodily heirs shall have 1/8th of my estate at my wife's death
6th It is my will and desire that my son Urias shall have 1/8th of my estate (including one hundred dollars that he has received extra) at my wife's death.
7th It is my will and desire that my daughter Emmaline & her heirs shall have 1/8th of my estate at my wife's death including one hundred dollars that she has received extra.
8th It is my will and desire that my daughter Delilah Ann and her heirs shall have 1/8th of my estate at my wife's death
9th It is my will and desire that my son William shall have 1/8 of my estate at my wife's death
10th It is my will and desire that my daughter Elizabeth and her bodily heirs shall have 1/8 of my estate at my wife's death including the two hundred and fifty dollars which she receives as specified in the second article.
11th It is my will and desire that my son Eli shall have 1/8 of my estate at my wife's death, made and assigned this 6th January 1845 in presence of:

Warren County Court Sct. August Term 1853
This last will and testament of Robert Rasdall deceased was produced in Court and proved by the oaths of Abraham Dick, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto who proved the signature of Preston H. Doughty another subscribing witness thereto is now dead and that said Dought attested said will in his presence was in the presence and at the instance and request of Robert Rasdall. Therupon said will was ordered to be recorded which is recorded accordingly. Test. C. S. Elewett, CC.

MY NOTE: As to the 3 single children, we know for sure one is daughter, Elizabeth as she is mentioned by name. I believe one is also the youngest child, Eli, as in 1850 he appears to be unmarried as is with his widowed mother. This leaves either William or Emmaline for the 3rd single child. (CAB)
