John Ragsdale son of William was christened in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, on 23 October 1571.[1]
John married Ann Woodward on 11 July 1602 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.[2]
He was buried in Chesterfield on 30 January 1618/19.[3]
Research Notes
There is no evidence that John's father William was from Nottinghamshire.
John's children were left one noble each in the will of his wife's uncle Francis Heathcote (1570-1619), who died shortly after him, but the children are not named in the will. Christening records for his daughters and son John have been found in the Chesterfield parish register.
The son Godfrey attached to this profile may not belong here: there is much speculative information about Godfrey Ragsdale on the internet: see his profile Godfrey Ragsdale I (abt.1615-1644) for further discussion.
