Nellie B Ralph was born on 13 November 1903 in Tonbridge, Kent, her father, Albert, was 31, and her mother, Ellen, was 24. She married Stephen James Stonestreet in 1924 in Ticehurst, Sussex. They had four children during their marriage. She died in March 1967 in Battle, Sussex, at the age of 63
