Biography

Mary was born in about 1807-1810. She married George Stair, a lumber-man and farmer. In 1850 they were living in Dorrance Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Their children included:

1. Elizabeth Stair
2. Ellen Stair
3. Evan Stair
4. Jackson Stair
5. Sarah Ann Stair
6. Mahala A. Stair

A widow in 1870, she was living with her son Jackson in Dorrance Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. He was single and working as a laborer.

Mary passed away about 1880. ^[1]
