Caroline Ralph was born on 10 May 1850 in Centenary Street, Camborne, Cornwall to Francis Ralph and Caroline Ralph nee Rogers.[1]
At the time of the 1841 census she and her parents and brother John were living at her grandfather's, John Ralph's, house at 157 Centenary Street, Camborne.[2]
Caroline came to Australia at the age of four with her parents, Francis and Caroline, and her brother John. The Ralph family arrived in Portland, Victoria on 21 November 1854 on the Bloomer after a voyage of 124 days.[3][4]
Caroline Ralph married Francis Gilbart Edwards on 27 Dec 1870 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.[5] They had the following children:
Caroline died on 22 July 1896 in Brighton, Victoria, when she was 46 years old.[8]
