I don’t know if you ever look at G2G but I gave you a shout out here https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1142985/52-ancestors-week-48-gratitude?start=20#a_list_title

Don’t know if I’ve truly expressed how grateful I am I came across your website. It really opened up so many doors to do the work I’ve done.

I'm trying to work up the tree for our shared Howie ancestor https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McBain-434

Her parents were Daniel McBain and Margaret Templeton

Do you have any information on WHICH Margaret Templeton?

There are three Margaret Templetons born in Campbeltown:

  • Templeton-1675 Margaret Templeton, born 1698 daughter of Robert Templeton and Margaret Cuthbertson
  • Templeton-2968 Margaret Templeton, born 1701 daughter of William Templetown and Jean Simpson
  • Margaret Templeton born 1704, daughter of Thomas Templeton and Helen Alexander
I had not seen the index to the Harvey book. That’s really helpful. On my to do list is to make a page about the book. So much to do!
Peter, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

The Scotland Project seems to fit your ancestors. Click the link to read how to join.

Thanks for signing the Honor Code, Harold! I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

You've been here quite a while but I don't see that you ever recieved the link to the How-to pages that we share with new members. There is some great information in those pages on working with both the Wiki pages and our other members.

If you have questions about how WikiTree works, let me know. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
