From the obituary:
"Orlando L. Ralston died Monday afternoon at about three o'clock, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Toledo, after an operation which took place Monday morning. The deceased was born in Noble township, July 5, 1845, and was aged sixty five years, one month, and ten days. His parents were Joseph and Liza Ralston. For the past year, he has resided in Defiance on Perry street having moved in from the farm upon which he lived practically all his life.
In January, 1870, he was married to Miss Helen Rohn, the marriage taking place in Defiance.
The deceased is a member of the Masonic Fraternity.
He is survived by a wife and five children, Joseph, who lives south of town, Carl of Coshocton, Ernest who resides upon the old home farm in Noble township, Mrs. Earl Bevington of Toledo, and Miss Eugenia of Defiance and one brother, Lake E. (Erie), also survive.
The funeral will be held Thursday, but the arrangements have not yet been completed and will be announced later."
