John Ralston, Aged 78, Dies In Sarasota

John D. Ralston, 78, died about 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sarasota Municipal hospital, Sarasota, Fla., where he had spent the winter. He had planned to return to Rockford this month.

Mr. Ralston was born near Argyle and farmed in that community for many years before he retired and moved to Rockford. He was a member of Willow Creek Presbyterian church, Argyle.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Helen Newman, with whom he made his home here; and several cousins.^[3]
