Biography

Alexander Ralston was born on November 1, 1778 in Keene, Cheshire, New Hampshire, United States, son of Alexander Ralston (~1746–1810) and Janet Balloch (1747–1833).[1]

Alexander married Mary Ann Hosmer (born on May 31, 1791 in Saybrook, , Connecticut, USA; daughter of Timothy Greene Hosmer and Diodema Comstock) 2 January 1810 in Montpelier, Washington, Vermont, United States.[2]Their children were:

  • Alexander (1813-1880)
  • Robert H. (1815-1859)
  • Mary Ann (1817-1855)
  • Helen M. (1822-1904)
  • James B. (1828-1868)
