Biography

Homer was the son Of Gusta Ramey and Sarah Mote. When Homer Edger Ramey was born on April 27, 1918, in Georgia, his father, Augusta, was 20 and his mother, Sarah, was 17. He had two sons and one daughter with Mamie Inez Thompson between 1955 and 1961. He died on September 14, 1997, in his hometown at the age of 79, and was buried in Walnut Grove, Georgia. ^[1]
