Biography

John Ramsay was born in 1811.

He married Margaret Lun (Lyall) Ramsay at Fife, Scotland in 1839.^[1]

He migrated to New South Wales in 1840 via the ship Mary Anne.

He died at Taree, NSW, on 20 Aug 1878,^[2] and was buried in the Wingham Cemetery.^[3]
