Biography

Emma first married Mark Walsh (of whom we also have a photograph) and after he died she married Robert Crossley (of whom we also have a photograph). Frederic also clearly wrote and received letters from her though his Log Book only ever gives initials to the correspondents.

  • I, Alison Ball, have in my possession photographs of Emma who was the sister of my Great Grandfather Frederic Ramsden. I was then able to track down Census and other records to discover more about her.
