Biography
Mabel was born in Lydd in the April quarter of 1878. She appear4s in the 1881 cencus of Lydd as a three year old. In 1901, Mabel was aged 23 and single, living with her parents. There was also a three year old Winifred Rander, granddaughter of Richard and Kate, so daughter of Mabel. Mabel was a 33 year old housekeeper in her father's residence in 1911. Her daughter Winifred was 13.
In 1920, Mabel had another child, Renee Oliveen Rander, supposedly fathered by a Malcolm Rander.
