An 1850 census record was found for a 14 year old Richard Ramsey, living in the household of 25 year old, J L Ramsey, in Randolph County, Georgia. This most likely is this Richard living with possibly an older brother.[1]
In 1860, a 23 year old R A Ramsey can be found living in the household of John W Helms in Dale County, Alabama.[2]
