CLORA ALWILDA McKEE
Clora Alwilda McKee, 84 died Feb. 23 at Polk Co., Community Hospital. She was born in Anadarko, Okla., Nov. 7, 1900, to Clement A. and Laura Belle Ramsey. She married Lawrence McKee on November 8, 1919.
They farmed at Perrydale nearly 50 years. In 1960 they sold the farm and lived in Sisters. She resided in Jefferson Manor and Dallas Nursing Home from Nov. 1982.
Survivors include brother, George Ramsey of Corvallis; sisters Lola Martsfield of Dallas, Susie Hatfield of Salem, Ruby Hufstader of Springfield, and Verda S. Seibert of Florence. Preceding her in death were her husband and son.
After her son Wallace, died she set up a scholarship in his name at Perrydale High School.
Services were held Feb. 27 at Belcrest Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Al Tschiegg officiating.
The family suggests that contributions may be made to Perrydale High School (Wallace McKee Scholarship Fund) or a favorite charity.
