At age 7, on July 12, 1860, he was living on his parents' farm with six siblings in Camden, Hillsdale County, Michigan.[2]
At age 20, Hugh died on Sepember 23, 1873 in Camden, Hillsdale County, Michigan. He is buried there in Camden Cemetery.[1]
