Biography
George was born in 1829 to Thomas Rand and Eliza Barnaby. He married Anne Jane Rounsefell in 1857. He was the Postmaster at Wolfville. Three children born to this couple: William, Frederic and Audrey. He died at Nova Scotia Hospital and is buried at Willowbank Cemetery in Wolfville, Kings Co., NS. 1908.
