Biography

Frederick, child of William Rand & Eliza Sarah Rand, was born in 1872 in New South Wales.[1]

Frederick was a clerk in the New South Wales Public Service, being appointed on 1st March 1891.[2]

Frederick married May M Logan in 1899 in Mudgee, New South Wales.[3]

RAND— LOGAN.At half- past 2 o'clock last Monday afternoon a quiet, but very pretty wedding was celebrated at 'Annan Lodge,' Mudgee, the residence of Mr. T. H. Wilkinson, P.M., by the Right Rev. Monsignor O'Donovan, when Fred, the youngest son of Mr. William Rand, of 'Meryton,' Arncliffe (formerly of Wagga Wagga), was married to May, daughter of the late Mr. James Logan, of Mingoola station, Queensland, and step-daughter of Mr. Wilkinson. The bride, who was given away by her step-father, was gowned in white embroidered muslin trimmed with white moire ribbons, and wore a hat trimmed with chiffon and feathers. She also wore a handsome diamond brooch, tho gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by Miss Katie Wilkinson, who wore a goblin blue cashmere dress and white hat. The bridegroom was supported by his brother as best man. By the evening train the bride and bridegroom left for the Mountains en route for Melbourne, where they intend spending their honeymoon. The bride's travelling dress was a dark green tailor- made coat and skirt, with cherry colored vest, hat and parasol to match. She was soon off at the station by a very largeconcourse of friends and well-wishers.[4]

Frederick died in 1939 in Chatswood, New South Wales.[5]
