1st. 1853 to Cordelia Clarissa McDowell (nee Worden) and they had possibly three children, Elizabeth S.(1853), Mary A.(1856) and Warren J.(1859). They divorced before 1864, when she married his brother Reuben. Note; 1870 US Census shows a Warren Randall, age 10.
2nd. 17 Sep 1867 Sarah C. Worden (nee Fisher)(1843-1873), who had three children from marriage to Warren Worden (1838-1864), Clarissa, Mary E. and (Warren) Jefferson. Joseph and Sarah had a child Rosella (b.1870).
3rd. Richland, Wis. 29 Mar 1877 Amanda A. Barstow, w/three children.
He passed away in 1901.
