Biography
Samuel was born in 1841. He was the son of Dudley Randall and Eliza Powell.
Samuel served in the Confederate Army, enlisted Aug 1861, Co. D., 5th Regt. Hampton Legion. Wounded in 3 Jul 1863 at Gettysburg, taken prisoner, recovered from wounds and retired from service. ( see Randall Gen.)
He passed away in 1870.
