Ernestine (Randall) Larry is a part of US Black heritage.

The 1910 U.S. Census lists Ernestine as a 22 year old married black woman living with her husband and two young children in Cheneyville, Rapides, Louisiana. Her birth year is estimated as 1888. Ernestine and her parents were born in Louisiana. Ernestine has given birth to two children, both of whom are still living. Ernestine does not work outside the home. She is able to read and write.^[1]

The 1920 U.S. Census lists Ernestine as a 28 year old married black woman living with her husband and seven children in Cheneyville, Rapides, Louisiana. Her birth year is estimated as 1892. It is noted Ernestine and her parents were born in Louisiana. Ernestine in unable to read or write. She works as a farm laborer on the home farm.^[2]

The 1930 U.S. Census lists Ernestine as a 38 year old married negro woman living with her husband and eleven children in Police Jury Ward 5, Allen, Louisiana. Her birth year is estimated as 1892. It is noted Ernestine and her parents were born in Louisiana. Ernestine was 16 when she married Elmore. She is able to read and write. Ernestine does not work outside the home.^[3]

The 1940 U.S. Census lists Ernestine as a 50 year old married negro woman living with her husband, nine sons, one daughter, and two daughters-in-law in Police Jury Ward 5, Allen, Louisiana. Her birth year is estimated as 1890. Ernestine was born in Louisiana. She attended school through grade five. Ernestine is unable to read or write. She does not work outside the home.^[4]
