Ira C. never married. He enlisted in the Army in 1942. Was living in Cincinnati / Elwood when his mother died in Cincinnati. She was possibly visiting him. He is the only child in Cincinnati, though his sister Anna Pauline Randolph Richards lived in Springdale Oh (Cinti. northern suburb).
