The Messenger Drummond, Garfield Co., OK November 9, 1916 page 1, column 3 Death of Young Woman Nellie Frances Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Randolph was born in Kansas in 1893. In the same year she moved with her parents to Oklahoma. On March 13th, 1912, she was married to Dave Brown and moved near Norman, Okla. In 1914 they moved back here where she lived until Monday, November 6, 1916, when Jesus took her home. She was 23 years, 10 months and 17 days old. She leaves a husband, father, mother, four brothers, four sisters and many other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her departure. She was converted in 1910 and joined the Followers of Jesus Christ and has remained a Christian ever since. Funeral services were held at Del Norte Church Tuesday afternoon, services conducted by Rev. W.T. Morris of Aline. Mr. Brown and her parents have the sympathy of this entire community.
