On 22 Jan 1891, Thompson J. Randolph was born in Anthony, Kansas, USA [1] to Clarence Randolph and Cora Baghmass. [2]

Marriage and Family

On 2 Jul 1911, Thompson J. Randolph (age 20, born in Kansas) married Catherine M. Pitz (born in Ohio). Thompson was employed as a Machinist. Thompson's parents were C.C. Randolph and Cora. The marriage was witnessed by Homer Randolph of Flint, Michigan and Mrs. S. Randolph of Flint, Michigan, USA. [3]

At the time of the WWI draft, Thompson J. Randolph was employed by the government, married with two children, and living at 541 Commonwealth, Detroit, Michigan, USA. Thompson was 5'7" tall (medium); of Medium build; with Light Brown eyes; and Black hair. [4]

On 14 Apr 1930 at the time of the 1930 US Census, head of household Thompson Randolph (age 39, born in KS) was employed as a Clerk at a Post Office and living in a home he owned valued at $9,000 at 5611 Commonwealth in Detroit, Michigan with his wife Catherine Randolph (age 37, born in OH) who was employed as a Presser at a Cleaning Company; daughter Beatrice A. Randolph (age 16, born in MI); son Thompson Randolph (age 14, born in MI); son Theodore Randolph (age 9, born in MI); and daughter Virginia Randolph (age 4 years 9 months, born in MI). Both of Thompson's parents were born in Ohio; both of Catherine's parents were born in Ohio. Thompson was 21 when first married; Catherine was 19 when first married. [5]

Death and Legacy

On 13 Aug 1931, Thompson J. Randolph died in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA at age 40. [6]
