Biography

Mary Randolph is a part of US Black heritage.

Mary Randolph was born in 1892. She was the daughter of Seagley Ezell Randolph and Rachel Calhoun (1868-1952).

The 1910 Census^[1] shows her at age 18 in the home of her mother and step father in Okmulgee Township, Okmulgee City, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. She is seen with her first child:

• Juanita (Avery) Hamilton (1910-)

She had two children with (but was not married to) Calvin B. Talton:

1. Ollie Grace (Talton) Ealey (1914-2003)
2. Mary Frances (Talton) Brown (1918-1970)

The 1920 Census^[2] shows her at age 25 in the household of her sister, Charlotte, with her three children.

The 1930 Census^[3] shows her at age 34 as the head of her own household with daughters Grace and Mae F, living with her and her step-son, Joseph Talton.

The 1940 Census^[4] shows her at age 47 with her daughter Mae Frances Talton, and two grand children in Okmulgee City, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.

The 1950 Census^[5] shows her at age 57 with her daughter Mary F Brown, and five grandchildren in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.

She passed away a few days before 15 Jul 1985,^[6] which was the date of her funeral in Los Angeles.

Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Okmulgee, Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.^[7]
